Rear Crossmember Damage

Can the rear crossmember (part number 65750S5AZ10ZZ) be removed and replaced? I can't find any good images of it uninstalled. The diagrams look like they were drawn with crayons and don't show any sort of attachment method. This is a 2005 EX.
