Question tiptronic - how reliable is it?

i was jus wondering how reliable is it to constantly shift a tiptronic transmission without causing damage. guess i'm so use to shifting that even while in cars with tiptronic transmission i fine myself doing it. can it damage the transmission or is it completely kool to treat it like a manual tranny?

If it were bad for the transmission, the auto maker wouldn't put it in and encourage you to use it. Tiptronic transmissions are specially designed to be able to do that safely.

what car are we talking about anyway?
