Yes, the brake is pressed and the brake light works, so it isn't the safety switch.
Since it is only in and out of Park that is trouble, I thought it was the switch too.
Going to the dealer in the morning, but they won't say what it could be, which is the run-around I was expecting from them. Thanks anyway.

This has happened to me before too but its very random and usually on a cold morning... (sorry to thread jack) It could be the actual shifter that just needs lubbing (I DONT REALLY KNWO JUST A GUESS) but dont take my word for it.. I'ma ask a buddy and i'll repost with any info i get..
