Short Throw Shifter?
#11
the poly bushings replace the rubber ones that come stock, they firm up your shifts by a bunch (i.e. reduce play in the shifter and miss-shifts) and they go further down the shift linkage than your actual shifter, like where the shift linkage meets the trans

oh yeah i forgot about the piece that goes right by the shifter.
the two circular ones fit into either side of the shift linkage down by the trans and the metal bit goes between them. the other one goes right by the shifter where the shift linkage is secured to the bottom of the vehicle (you will see the stock parts that look basically the same anyway, so just swap them out).

Poly bushings are made of polyurethane, a tough type of plastic. They basically eliminate the play associated with the stock rubber bushings. Less play means more of the energy you use to move the shifter actually reaches the transmission, instead of being wasted on compressing the bushings, making the shift a little more efficient.
And here's where the bushings go:

it is a matter of preference really, i went with dual bend so i can position the shifter closer to myself. there should not be a different in how much it reduces shift throw as long as the dual and single bend you are comparing are the same model (i.e. the b&m single and dual shorten the shift by the same amount so whichever suits you is best)
