I think he thinks you did something to the tranny to make it shift like that. All you did was grab the shifter and shift when it redlined right?
Yes, well, until I hit 7000K. It does feel like it pulls a bit harder, but I cant be certain.

TipTronic still has a Torque Converter so Manual > TipTronic. TipTronic jus allows you to choose wat gear your transmission is in and when it shifts. I can do that with the automatic in my 94 Civic. But a car with tiptronic prolly already has a pretty advanced transmission so when u gun it, it should already shift at the optimium shift point. So why not let the computer do its job.
