They're made so that if you drive the car, you can drive it manually, and if your wife/girlfriend wants to drive it, she can drive it like an automatic.

it's not too expensive to do an auto to manual swap out, def worth it if your gonna boost it.

i dont have the knowledge or tools to do it, if i go to a shop, theyll prob charge me like 2g, and thats just money i dont have.

my friend bought the auto -> manual conversion parts for 200$, the shop did the rest for 500$ so 700 bucks he converted

honestly, if there was a shop that would do it for 700, I would probably would already had it done. But for that cheap, unlikely here.

There has been a talk here before about shifting auto's like a 5speed. Well, heres a little vid of my car my friends help me make and here I do a 0-80 run shifting the tranny manually. Also the middle clip, is me accelerating in D, but after having my kickdown cable tightened, all I have to do is let off the gas and the car will shift, I get to pick the rpm. I dont get the question you're askin, rephrase.
I think he thinks you did something to the tranny to make it shift like that. All you did was grab the shifter and shift when it redlined right?
