Does any one know where I can find a D-series transmission. See my sig for vehicle specs. I was curious if anyone know both the transmission code and if I would possibly be able to find a 6 speed instead of a 5 speed. There wouldn't be any difference in the computer or the wiring would there be? Thanks!

 

really no 6 speed short of a K-swap (the WHOLE swap) get an EX tranny, not sure of the code though.

 

took the words right out of my mouth...and i dont think anyone has made mounts for a 5th gen k series swap yet.....and even so...that is not a cheap swap...

 

yeah, they have made it. if i werent buying a house.......well, thats possibly down the road for me, but i HAVE to buy a house. and it costs a grip.[:@]

 

heh...yea my friend who is a honda mech...has an 01....and he is going to swap the k24 with the 6 speed...in it one day...he just needs the 10 grand or so its gunna cost....but do you know how hard that car will be runing...i think he said he wants to throw in some cams and posibly chip the comp and he will have like 200 somthing(high 200 somthing) or 300 somthing to the wheels

 

ive seen them with a homemade P&P, stage 2 cams, and valvetrain. they hit 270WHP, and i think they could break 300 with a KPro for tuning.

 

yea...that would be great...to bad its so damn much money...i mean..the swap alone..then to add all the aftermarket crap to it...thats more money then the average honda turner could dream of having..lol
