Default Automatic Transmission Problems HELP!!!

So after I start my car, and I put it into drive it takes about 2 seconds to go into gear. It also pops 2 times before going into gear.
Also when im drivin, and it shifts it stays in neutral and revs, then goes into gear.
The previous owner of the car beat the living **** out of it... like every day.
So is my tranny goin to crap, or is there a way to fix it?

Is the ATF low? Have you drained and replaced it? What type of fluid is in it? Is the CEL ON? Is the D4 light blinking?

I would try changing the ATF again. Use Honda genuine ATF. You need 3 1-quart bottles of it. Only use 2.9 quarts.

If this doesn't work, then you may want to start shopping for a transmission.

Well today I was drivin on a country road about 4 miles out of town. I made a U turn going a little fast, but not enough to squeel the tires.

All the sudden I hear a bunch of messed up noises and my spedometer was jumpin all around. Then the car was perminately in neutral.
When I try to put it into ANY gear it just grinds except park, but even tho its in park the car still rolls forward and back.

It is still sitting out on that road becuase I have nothing to towe it with or anything.

Edit: Remember my car is an Automatic

Sounds like your tranny took a dump. Nothing lasts forever, especially with previous owners beating the crap out of it. Sounds like you need to find yourself a new auto tranny or choose this time to convert to a 5 speed.

I would convert to 5 speed, but I don't have that kind of money. I mabye can scrape up enough for a tranny and just sell the car.

It's cheaper to convert to 5 speed than buy an auto transmission that's actually in good shape.

I think your torque converter might have gone... which isn't cheap to replace.
