Default 7th gen auto - manual swap cost?

i see alot of threads talking about it, but when the issue of cost comes up, nobody seems to have a clear cut answer..Strictly parts, not including labor, using ebay/other internet sites, thoughts?

i would personally leave the car how it is.. and buy a hatch or something cheap to work on and modify.
so that way if you run into problems you'll still have a vehicle to drive when the other one is down.

I second that! Unless the car is clear from warranty, I wouldnt mess with it. Down here in FL, an 01 Civic runs around $12k depending on the dealer. If you fudge that up, you'll have to use your chevrolegs to get around. instead of spending $1500 to $2400 on the swap. use that money to buy a beater honda hatch you can hook up.

In labor you're lookin at $800 to $1500 (i've asked around).. your best bet is to find two or three people that have done it before and buy a BIG keg of their favorite beer and invite them over . It worked for me.. then the dude that was gonna sell me the front clip of his honda sold me out
