Default Whitewalls... where are they? :)

Quick question... I'm looking for some whitewall tires in 215/45-17. Tirerack doesn't have any, 1010tires doesn't have any. I've been able to find one website with them for about $265 a piece. Just curious if there were any others out there that you all have come across. This is mostly because of a Scion tC add a little while back with a white tC and whitewalls that looked pretty nice (the caption was Scion by someone... Purist), and I'm just curious to see how they might look on a civic. The actual whitewalls should be about an inch or so thick. Thanks in advance.

They were aftermarket... and looked pretty tight. The car was just white with 5-spoke wheels and the whitewalls, no other accessories. I can't find the ad anywhere though. Might try looking through some old Maxims or something.

OK, found it!. Sorry for the line down the middle, I scanned it in from a fold-out.

here's a link to a bigger pic.

Anyway, does anyone have any info on where to get some tires like those? The ad only says 'Whitewall tires are not available through Scion or its dealers."

Thanks.

Good lookin' car, but I'd say save the whitewalls for a '62 Continental.
