RE: Wheel Offset Question....
Either is good enough to properly tuck the tires. I think +42mm would be better though (if I'm correct, positive offset means the rim of the wheel is actually closer to the car). I'm fairly sure my 17's have a +40 offset, and they tuck just fine
(just make sure you get 205/40 tires)

Thats correct...the more positive offset the farther the wheel "tucks" so the +42 is actually going to bring the wheel farther into the fender well. But I'm sure either will work...the 17's I had were +42 and I believe the rota's are +38...I'm not low enough that they tuck...but either set would do so just fine.

RE: Wheel Offset Question....
he didnt say he was lowered to tuck tire... my guess was tucken the whole wheel...
and my front realy isnt rolled just pushed up on the tabs alittle bit... tho the rear fenders are rolled... but then again my camber is correct as well... most people rock negative camber and clear...

**Edit: Either way to the OP... as was stated in previous posts more +offset = wheel is farther in...so go with the +42. addiction's fenders are rolled with corrected camber...mine sits nearly the same and when I had the 17's that were +42 with a little negative camber I never had a rubbing issue and my fenders are not rolled.
***One more edit...here's a shot of mine with the 17's...remember my rear camber was not adjusted so its negative...but I have no tire wear issues so I see no need to fix.
