Default weighted and balanced.
my rims.Click for cool rims are getting put back on this weekend. they were weighted and balanced for my other civic. do i have to get them re-weighted and re-balanced for this car?

nope, Wheels are balanced by themselves. They are taken off of the car and put on a machine that does it. You're good to go!

(most) rims are balanced when made, tires however, are not, which leads to the balancing with weights

My rims are weard. They were on a acura and they were fine. But then I put them on my car and they pull right. Im going to get them balanced before I put them on this year. Its only $40

Well it cant be a alignment problem, since my car goes straght with my stock rims and tires. Tires mabey? I posted about this before on 2 different forum and no one really could help me, but some people said balancing, so I thought I would try it. Before I do though, I will switch around my wheels on different sides and see what happens.

If the rims you put on your car are taller than the stock ones, it will screw up your alignment......so even though its fine with the stock ones, bigger wheels in diameter will screw up alignment. Measure the stock rims to those, and if the new rims are taller you need an alignment.

even on the same rims, same car, balanced and aligned, this can make a huge difference...

was a difference between my old snow tires & my normal tires
