tokico blue vs koni str.t
So the used illuminas I got for a steal are now leeking oil one week later. should have known : /
which would you guys recommend for a 2'' drop on the cheapest coilover sleeves i can get? Tokico Hp or Koni STR.t
Str.t says on the website it can handle a modest drop, Hp's dont but lots of people are ok with dropping on them anyway i have read.
I really cant shell out 400+, 300 is my max so these are my option. And Skunk2 Sport is 300 also, but they dont even have a lifetime warranty and I heard the ride sucks.

I would go with the Koni's. Technically they are both OE Replacement shocks. The Tokico's are probably a little less aggressively valved then the Koni's so they may not handle being quite as low and/or having stiff springs as well as the Koni's might.

thanks, I think I will go with the koni's. I read that their warranty covers advanced replacement so that they will ship you new shocks before the blown ones are returned if you give a credit card #.
Im gonna get some stechs and hope that they are high enough for the winters here cause i dont wanna keep getting alignments twice a year.
koni's are 20 cheaper than the hp's, that sold me too.
