looks like you car is lowered? maybe with cut stock springs? that is not a stock suspension setup, shouldn't look like that even with 16" rims, should look like a monster truck instead. maybe you should take another look springs. make sure its not stock springs that are cut, if so swap that out with lowering springs, or coilovers, or stock springs asap.

dito! defiantly modified suspension! with rims on stock suspension makes it look like a monster truck... heres my proof with my 205-40-17s
maybe the springs are cut or heated and thats why they bounce and rub so easily!

you really shouldn't be rubbing with 16's on the stock suspension unless you have giant tires or crazy low offset wheels. I had 17's and was dropped 3" up front and 3.5" in the rear with no rubbing at all. Let us know what the tire size is and we'll figure out why it's rubbing.
Also, where exactly is it rubbing? The inside of the wheel well? The fender lip?

i plan on slamming my dx after i paint it. removing the splash guards and cutting/hammering and welding the top angled steel to keep it from cutting in to the tires and then using extra splash guards and zip ties to hold them along the top or how ever i can to make it so everything else is still sealed to stay clean on everything else.

ok well needless to say i really need to stiffen my suspension up. Would you recommend lowering springs, coil overs, or something else.
if i get springs i will probably only purchase 2 for the rear depending on the price because the front does not rub. How much will a 2 springs cost me? or 4?

well most spring kits are sold in complete 4 set. or if you just buy stock springs you can get them new(at dealership or used (ebay or junk yard).
and IMO if they screwed up the rear spings they could have easily screwed up the front as well so IMO go ahead and replace them all and be sure.
so if you want the stock height get all 4 original springs. and might need to buy new struts since it might be a combo of molested springs and blown struts giving alot of travel in the suspension.
or if you like the lowered look then might as well buy all 4 struts and lowering springs. i used HP struts and Stech springs on my first drop.
the rear is easy to keep it from rubbing the fender lip by either rocken negative camber or rolling the inner fender lips. your choice.

i like the lowered look but hate the rubbing haha....so do lowing springs stiffen your suspension more than stock or do you need the struts to really get the job done.
and a negative on the camber dont want any weird tire wear.

negative camber wont wear your tires all funny. anyone that says there tires are camber wear dont know any better!!!!!! many people hear will confirm the same thing... TOE is what will kill a tire! camber wear is very minimal extra wear. ask reaper2022 i believe he was rocken some serious negative camber for quite some time with his slammed.
