getting the old bushings out of the stock LCA's on a 5th gen is pretty easy. getting the Energy Suspension bushings into the LCA's is even easier, no need for some special hydrolic press. did my in my garage with a drill, socket, hammer, hand saw, and a vise..

also with a press, if ur not careful, u run the risk of bending the arm. you may not even know u did so either.

but as long as you block it right next to whats being pressed out you dont have to worry about that. i use 2 pieces of really thick steel thats right next to the bushing as close as posible.

o ya another tip to using a press is slap the new bushing in the freezer for awhile. it will help shrink the metal alittle and make it easier to be pressed in. i also put alittle grease in the sleeve of the pieces as well.

grease them inside and out, anywhere they touch metal, or they will squeak like crazy.
