The ASR kit is cool. Unfortunately it's not legal for STS. I don't know what class you're running in though.
??? quote from rule book would help. i've seen a couple integras with the ASR kit run in STS, one guy is quite competitive. more info would be great.
the debate is between two parties...one say that the extra bolts form triangulation which is not allowed, however, many people run it because it is considered the safest in underbody bracing and has little effect more than a normal tie bar (which has two points of attachment)...there in essence lies the issue, is the ASR brace designed to increase stiffness in more than one axis? Either way, people run them in STS in my area as well and since I'm not super competetive, I don't feel too bad running it in STS, especially when other people in the area already have been for a while...and more than one.

and where have u been Marnie???[>:]
Let me rephrase, "its legality has been highly debated."

14.7 ANTI-SWAY BARS
Substitution, addition, or removal of any anti-roll bar(s) is permitted.
Bushing material, method of attachment, and locating points are
unrestricted. Components such as anti-roll bars and strut housings
that serve dual purposes by also functioning as suspension locators
may not be modified in ways that change the suspension geometry
or steering geometry. Non-standard lateral members which connect
between the brackets for the bar are not permitted.
I think the part in bold is what people had an issue with. That's from the 07 rulebook. I seem to recall something changing after that but I'm not about to sort through 8 months of FasTrack updates to find it.

Thanks for the heads up and the quote. I think I'm still going to run it do to the fact that the people in my area have no issue with it and others run it as well. If it ever gets contested, I'll see what to do then.

Haha true, but even then I don't know, cuz other people run it like I said earlier. And it's not so much disallowed, as debated. Oh and I'll see if I can find the linnk, but there's already a proposed rule change to clarify the rules allowing them next year.

Also, I found this and wrote an email
