Sweet lookin', but they don't look like 17's to me

 

I assure you they are 17s. Its not rough like a lot of people tend to say.

see for me i dont think black rims look good on our color car. i feel that there has to be a contrast between car color and rims. idk just my opionin. but the drop will look sweet i have s techs on my car and its pure sexyness!! check out my photo album !

That's funny, I always get the same comment. I think 17's just look incredible on sedans, nowhere near too big. I'm liking your wheels a lot man, and with some black housing lights and a dropit won't be all that different from my car, only yours is green! lol. I would suggest spending the extra hundred for Ground Controls... for some reason on my sedan the back was lower than the front with a spring setup... but I have tokico HPK, S-techs might be different...

 

personally i think a lip would look tacky a smooth drop and some tints would be the way to go.. imo

thats the crappy part about black with chrome/polished lip they always looka size smaller for some reason.. i always think so anyways

 

I normally dont like black wheels on dark green cars either, but I plan on painting it Burnt Orange(the color on the new chevy cobalts)around the first of the year...hopefully. Also getting a lip kit that im going to keep gloss black, along with the drop, black projectors, tinted stock tails, and then a little more to the interior. All ive done inside is a system. Flexible LED strips are on the way, then painting a few pieces to match the exterior paint when its done.
And your hatch is sick man...I wanted one and tried my best to find one, but couldnt. Ended up finding this 98 for $2,500....couldnt say no to that price.

 

Personally dont see he big thing about black wheels with the polished lip.. just dont like them one bit..
How come so many of you seem to be into them?

 

I got tired of seeing everyone with chrome rims a long time ago. I just like the look of a nice glossy black car or set of rims. I had white rims before these...
