I owned a 14 second 88 Toyota Tacoma and I currently ride an 06 Yamaha R6 street bike (11 sec QT). Im pretty sure my opinion counts for something....

Lets put it this way. If I wanted to drive fast, I wouldnt own just a Civic, they are economic cars!

I know exactly what point you were trying to make. I was simply making a point of my own. "kthxbye" (meaning I have the last word and I'll be damned if anyone argues with me) C'mon man, only children do that stuff. Lighten up brozif!

 

goodpoint I somewhat agree, I was thinking of buying an older gixxer or yamaha for my summer fun and speed (on two wheels) and just keep the civic for gas, but I also would love to have a h22a swapped into my hatch for speed! and fun of course

 

Dont get me wrong, the bike is a lot of fun. But damn, they are way too tempting to speed with! Unfortunately you have to learn to drive for other people as well. People these days are too intuned with their cell phones and in such a hurry that they completely lose sight of anyone riding a bike. Very scary! That and insurance is killer, if you have little to no experience riding. Im 22 and have been riding since i was 17...my insurance is still really high even as a secondary or "recreational" vehicle.

Anyhoo, this is kinda off topic for this thread. If ya'll wanna chat more about it lets make a new thread elsewhere. I enjoy talking about bikes, almost as much as riding them. :-)

 

sure im interested in insurance and that, make a thread, i am almost 20 and have never really ridden bikes, sport quads I own one but not bikes, I am almost 20 so I wonder how it would be for me
