Default Looking for some rims, need opinions

The girlfriend has a Frost White 97 DX and needs some summer time rims and tires. I've been doing some looking around and decided that 15" would most likely be the best bet since this is a daily driven car and needs to still ride pretty comfortable. Also, I don't want to put more strain on the suspension running anything bigger than a 15" rims, seen too many bad things happen with 17" rims, and generally most 17" rims look way to big on a Civic. Anyways...

I'm looking to get something relatively cheap that I won't cry if it gets a scratch on it. We've been looking at Rotas and Nippon Racing rims. Namely these following rims:

Rota Grid (Volk TE37 knockoffs)- White

Rota Slipstream (Spoon Racing knockoffs) - White

Nippon Racing Formula 1 (Volk TE37 knockoffs) - White

We are looking at whites mostly, I but I also think that gold or bronze with or without a polished lip would look really cool too. What do you guys think we should go with?

Not a big fan of white on white.....but the slipstreams look pretty nice. Actually, they all look good to me!

I'd just go with a charcoal grey or bronze

Yea, I'm leaning more towards gold or bronze at this point. I think the white rims on the white car will wash out too much whereas the gold or bronze would give it a nice contrast. Gunmetal may also look decent but I'm going to stay away from black or flat black. Need something to help offset the white of the car.

The car is a 97 DX. Currently it sits with stock suspension, but most likely will have either Eibach Pro Kit or HR OE Sport springs put on it to drop it an inch or so. I'm not looking to go anything big and 16" is the biggest I wanna go most likely. The car is the girlfriend's daily driver. 17" are going to be too big for her car and I don't want to have to run a skinny tire for fear of her hitting a good sized bump and bending the rim, so that's my reason for going 16" or less. I'm looking for something in 15" or 16" but do not want anything that's going to rub. Obviously it needs to come in a 4x100 bolt pattern. These rims and tires will be used spring, summer, and fall and then will get put away for the winter. I don't need anything very wide or heavy since it's a low power daily driver, so at this time I'm leaning more towards 15" rims, but really like the look of 16" also.

It looks like my choices in rim size in 15" ranges in width from 6.5" to 8" and 16" width ranges from 6.5" to 8" also. From the looks of it the most common sizes are 15x6.5 and 16x7. I have no idea what offset to go with, so I figured I could get a little help on that one.

huge fan of te37's so i would go with choice 1 or 3. and i would have to agree with staying away with white rims on a white car. i would suggest going with bronze or gunmetal. leaning more towards bronze on a white civic

Yea, I'm thinking of going with the TE37 replicas. The Slipstreams look nice, but I think I'm leaning more towards the TE37 replicas. Basically I'm just looking for something simple that isn't too flashy since I'm going for a clean car. Any other suggestions on rims?

^+1 on the rota boost. Sexy wheels. what about getting a set of GSR blades? I know it's the wrong body style but you get the idea. http://hondamarketplace.com/showthread.php?t=1905662

i agree:

The rota boost ones look sick and the GSR blades are always a good choice. I would personally love to find a set locally for my self but i never get that lucky.

Have you looked around on craigslist.com? Place is usually full of 'em.
