Jdm 5 lug conversion Questions
Hello all, this is my first time asking a question so please bare with me. I have a 98 civic CX Hatchback, What im trying to do is make a EK9 clone but a little bette, and i bought a 5 lug conversion witch i know nothing about. Any who now thats out of the way i have a ton of questions that i hope anyone can help me with.
1. How do i know if it came from a DC2 or Ek9?
2. How easy will it bolt in my Ek If it was from a DC2?
3. If it did come from a DC2, What mods am i looking at?
4. The conversion came with F/R sway bars. Now i know the DC2 is 23mm and the CTR is 22mm, Witch is better? OEM or say Mugen?
5. The conversion also came with F/R shocks, now if it did come from a DC2 will it fit? Now im not going to use them but i need to know when i go aftermarket.
6. It also came with OEM cambers, once again im not going to use them but what should i buy Ek9 or DC2 cambers?
7. Now the brake lines were cut so im going aftermarket, the question is will a 2000 SI lines work?
8. What about the E brake line, will a 2000 SI work?
9. How about the Master cyolinder, prop valve. Should i go SI again or Type R?
10.Now i want to stick with the OEM Caliper's, But what is the bigest size Rotor i can fit? I plan to use 17 DC5 rims.
Now i know this is a ton of Question's I want to do this right the first time. Any help with this will be Very appreciated.

RE: Jdm 5 lug conversion Questions
the more I think about this, the more I realize I don't know enough about the JDM models to answer your questions. Can you look more carefully and maybe find a part number you can search on?
