Buy tires online?

There needs to be a balance of both looks and functionality. On any Civic made before 2001, 15" wheels look plenty big (in most Civic enthusiasts' (ricers not included... ricers don't care about their car, only their self image) opinion, the perfect size) and still offer comfort and an ideal sidewall height.
OP: Get that size because it offers more sidewall and comfort. You don't need 205mm of treadwidth on your Civic, 195 is plenty.

Sorry but big rims don't make you look cool. In my opinion, big rims make you look dumb because you don't care about how good your car works, you only care about how good you think it looks.

1. I don't track. Actually, 88-00 Civics come with 13" 14" and 15" rims stock. The cars aren't made for track stock.
So I think by your logic what you're really saying is "not everybody wants to DD the way the car was designed."
2. I'm not acting like we all have super cars. Since Civics come with small rims, i'm actually acting being more realistic than you are and i'm using my car more like it was designed to be... with smaller rims.
3. My rims aren't "top notch s**t." Actually, they probably cost a few hundred dollars less than your wheels. Smaller wheels means a smaller price, and easier to find/less expensive tires.
P.S. I never called you a ricer. I was saying ricers aren't included in the definition of "enthusiast."
And what size rims do you have? If you have 17" on the 7th gen, that's not that bad. 17" is worse on a 5th or 6th gen than on a 7th gen because you can use bigger tires than us. You really can't relate to us 92-00 guys because your car is designed for rims about 1" bigger than ours are. Don't recommend 17" to someone with a 5th or 6th gen just because it's fine on your car, because it's completely different. Please, know the details of what generation Civic you are talking about before you recommend a wheel size.
