Bleeding brakes...

RE: Bleeding brakes on ABS?
STOP
Dude you are going to cook those rear brakes....
Rule of thumb is to adjust till there is a little friction when turned by hand and then back off the adjustment by two to three clicks.
Someone please give the exact procedure as I am at work....
Friction will equal heat in a short time and heat will do bad things. Heat will expand the pads and drum causing more friction and glazing and boiling of the fluid. How do you like the thought of NO brakes coming off the highway?
Step one...turn off the car
2 get a manual ( a good one)
3 go through the brakes again with a buddy who has done brakes before. (please no wanna be posers)
4 test those brakes before you get onto the road with the rest of us. Thanks...

As stated above by Dogmeat, adjust them until there's a bit of friction, then back them off a bit so that there's NO FRICTION.
