so if we were going to use it for a younger civic, say a 00 si, we would just need to change up the manifold, and the piping???

Yeah I assume you could use the turbo with a different manifold but the pipping, ecu, and all the other stuff wouldnt work so you would pretty much be buying a turbo for like 700 bucks.
