For Rent or Sale: Ball Joint C-Clamp
Alright, so coming off of just renting Dan's trailing arm bushing tool (Check it out: https://www.hondacivicforum.com/m_558907/tm.htm), I was inspired to offer up a tool that I have from a recent use. So inspired I'm using his format! Thanks Dan, haha...
Status: AVAILABLE, 6/30/08
The tool is a Ball Joint/ U-Joint tool, non-specific to the make/ model. I've personally used it for a EM/ES chassis, and on my DC. Both times it worked great! Save some cash over having to have a shop do a job you can do in around 2 hours.
So here's how it works:
To buy the tool, it will be $80 shipped
To rent, there will be a deposit of $80 required, via PayPal. This includes the shipping cost. When I get the tool back in good condition, you will receive $50 back.
- You will pay the return costs (USPS flat rate box, roughly $10)
- This will include a 4 week rental, from date of shipping to date of return (or at least date of return shipment, proven with tracking #)
- The tool must be returned in the same condition it was delivered!
** If you fail to meet any of these 3, the tool will become yours and the deposit will be withheld**
Information about me:
Name: Zach
Email: bakertime@gmail.com
Location Doylestown, PA 18901
Please PM or post in this thread for more information or to get my PayPal information. I've worked with both Fiirkan and Danomatic93 on this site, and I think that they will both vouch for me!

RE: For Rent or Sale: Ball Joint C-Clamp
...Thanks for your helpful post.
Not everyone has the local resources to rent something like this, so this is an option that costs much less than buying the tool for over $120. I'm not expecting people to jump all over it, but I have a tool that I'm not using, and someone may have a need for it. I'm trying to help others out, and help myself by having money put toward the cost of the tool. Not to mention, you probably get to keep this tool a lot longer than what Autozone allows.

^ Thank you sparkhard. I'm not expecting anyone to buy it...I realize you can get it for less. I mostly offer it as an option, because that's essentially what a renter would do if they chose to not send it back or keep it in good shape.
It costs me $10 to ship it to you...I make $20. Any less and it's not even worth the time shipping it and working out the details. No one is making you rent it.
Now anyway...if anyone would actually like to rent the tool (not tell me that I can rent it at Autozone), please let me know! The tool ships same or next day, priority so you'll have it fast (probably faster then it will take to get the parts for the job if you order online ).
