yeah, but it sound great though...

i just swapped it with an AEM intake, and swapped it back. i like the sound of the mishimoto much better.. there's more growl under hard acceleration.

voz, did you have a hard time fitting it? mine hits the motor mount if i have the shroud rightside up, i had to put it upside down for the hood to close.

 

My hood hits it... i wanted to keep the nameplate up.. hood will close it just pushes the intake down a bit.. the a/c hoses is whats keeping it from sitting lower..

huh, guess there are inconsistencies with the build quality.. my hood wouldn't close at all and the metal bracket area on the shroud was hitting the motor mount, and i think it was hitting the a/c hose as well. i wanted the name plate up since it looks better that way, but i had to put it upside down to close the hood at all.

i'm in contact with mishimoto.. took a bunch of photos and a couple videos, showing them the fitment issues. dunno what they'll do about it though..

anyway, upside down it fits well and is secure.. still looks great, just doesn't have the name plate visable. i dunno if im keeping it or not now.. if i cant find a CARB sticker i'll sell it and use the AEM.
