i bought by 94 hatch for 600$ and drove it from florida to my home(tennessee) its in great conditon and its the vx model get almost 50mpg's only costed 60$ in gas to drive almost 900 miles.

i only paid $200 for my 94 civic 4door.the only thing was wrong was the valve cover gasket. a mechanic shop old this girl the head was cracked thats why it was leaking oil. and she sold it to me.lol runs perfect a/c works and everything works on it. i wish it was a standard though. that would be nice.

Geez - I only had to pay $800 for a '95 Hatch with a blown head gasket. After the purchase, all repairs (radiator, head kit, hoses, etc.), window tint, JDM fogs, CAI, new front rotors & pads, and a removeable hub Momo-like steering wheel, I still haven't gotten $2000 invested yet.
That all changes tomorrow with new rims & tires... but still...
