Just wanted to let you know that the camshaft will work on a D16Z6 if you use a D16Y8 cam gear.

Or, you can use a D16Z6 (must be made for D16Z6 for this info to be correct) adjustable cam gear and use it to advance the cam ~4.5º.

If you buy a D16Y8 adjustable cam gear... well then you just leave it unadjusted at 0 since that would be the same as using an OEM D16Y8 cam gear.



With any of these three options, always adjust the head to TDC with the markings on the cam gear you are using. Make sure block is at TDC too.



Went through all this crap when I used a JDM D15B head on my Z6.

I wasn't sure how it would work exactly. I have a actually z6 cam gear on it right now (not included in the sale), and cam gear was advanced just over 4.0* for the motor to run correctly.

 

Pat...anything you have for an EK you wanna trade for that clock?

 

Honestly, all that I have is listed. Just the side moldings and the camshaft, but I just got an offer from someone who e-mailed me for $120 shipped. It is labeled best offer, though. So I'll be going with this guy if no one else is interested.
