you dont have to cut anything. you just remove the front cup holder part of your shifter cover and bolt this consoles frame to it, then remove your middle cig lighter trim panel, unplug your cig lighter harness and plug it into the consoles harness extension. very easy and no cutting needed! i only cut the bottom shifter trim piece because the rear bolt mounts broke since i couldnt get one of the bolts out. and instead of just removing the console from the shifter cover its just easier for you to know exactly how to put it there with it as is
much easier than a bag of screws and bolts/nuts with you trying to figure it out by trail and error

uploading more pics of it right now to show it apart and such.
its missing 2 screws that im aware of right now..... but just take one of the machine thread screws to your hardware store and 2screws shouldnt be more than a few bucks tops, one screw goes on the group of 4screws that holds on the inside cage for the radio opening. and the 2nd missing screw goes on the back radio opening and tray that goes to the frame, the gold colored brace part.
but again just 2 small machine thread screws. very cheap! probably not needed but all the screws in it would be best.

very easy. only thing you need is 2 philips screw drivers one regular and one large for the shifter cover 2 screws to install. hardest part for me removing it was getting the floor shifter bezel off the floor since those rear 2 screws were stuck so hard!
