1995 Honda Civic LX Sedan. (5-Speed) 134K miles (Chico, CA, 95928)
Hello, I'm Trying to Sell my 1995 Honda Civic LX Sedan. (5-Speed) Has 134K miles. Location is (Chico, CA, 95928)
First off let me start by telling why I want to sell it.
I want to sell this car that I originally bought for good gas mileage while going to school, Now that I live closer to school and I finally have made up my mind on the car that I want, it is time to work towards getting it.
Also I believe that being honest is best, and having at one point bought a "Lemon" myself. I do not wish to put anyone through that sort of trouble. So everything that follows is to the Best of my knowledge and I will honestly Answer ANY question that you may have.
The Civic is red with light grey interior, interior is nice and clean, drives nice and smooth. Have now owned it for a lil over a year and never had ANY problems with the car.
I have kept up on the oil, sparkplugs, air filter, oil filter, tire pressure. Only 160 Miles since Last tune-up. 2/12/07
Tires and rims are stock..no spolier.
Prior to me owning the car a trucker drove it to work and had a 67 chevy that he babied, It was immaculate and was very kept up, Im assumeing he treated the civic the same.
The only things wrong with the car are as follows.
Some A-hole almost hit me and I drove over a curb to prevent it, in doing so I broke the boot on the front passenger side, and i replaced the tire and rim cause it was slightly warped. I had it completely looked over and all they found was the boot to be broken, and it was estimated at $200 including the labor. ( I do not have time to fix it cause I am a student and work part time, But am willing to deduct 250 out of the sales price for the inconveinence of having to do it yourself)
Also the tint on the rear windows (not the rear windshield) are cracked and bubbled and need to be replaced, i started to remove the tint on one side but the fumes make me Ill so I stopped.
The front windsheild was broken while I owned it and was replaced maybe 4 months ago, everything fine there.
The CD player Works just fine, but you have to push on one side of it while pushing any buttons as a friend elbowed it getting into the car. Works fine other then it doesn't display and buttons won't work unless you push that side. (something that i have not researched and may be an easy or cheap fix)
Small cigarette burn on driver seat near the front. (has seat covers that match the back seats so it is not shown.)
No one has ever smoked in my car since I have owned it, but the burn makes me think that at some point someone prior to my owning it did.
Some new and or good things.
I recently, as in 3 months, had crystal speakers put in the front and rear, they are wonderful speakers, very sharp sounding, I'd keep them but my next car will prolly have diff sizes.
Like I said the windshield is brand new.
Moderatly new Floor mats match the car. pretty thick and durable. They are free with the car, unless you don't want them.
Amp wire hooked up from batt to the trunk, Leaving it in.
There is an alarm system hooked up although the guy I bought it from said it was touchy and he did not know how to tone it down so he removed the fuse, I have tried plugging fuse's in all over and have not found the right one, but the light saying it is hooked up is on, so I think that anyone who has alarm know how can figure it out. I didn't care enough. (I know it is in working order cause from time to time when I start the car it will chirp.
The price is negotiable, It Kelly Blue Books for $3,465. So around there, and of course at least -$250 for the boot.
