hey guys the audiobahns come with the flames on them.LOL its not a special trim ring.LOL
and audiobahns are not the best BUT if properly tuned amplifier they are decent for the $$. i started out with them and used them for afew years..
nice instal tho.
as how to make the cutout thats easy.... get a ruler, drill a hole in it half the size of your circle you want to do... like if you want a 14inch circle drill a hole in the ruler at 7inches then find the center of your board and put a screw thru the ruler in that spot and simply trace the circle using the end of the ruler... and then when you got your 2 circles made.... simply reuse your straight ruler to conect the 2 at the outter edge.
very simple... anybody can make one.....

It would more than likely be louder with both magnets actually in the box. If you have the flipped one wired backwards like its supposed to be, Its having to push all of its sound around the basket and magnet. If you want people to see it I suggest a plexiglass box

ive tried the subs turned around and if the box is a common chamber and the subs are wired reversed so they push and pull together and not fighting eachother!
but ive had them turned around and ive noticed no difference! only real difference is alittle more air space inside the box. and thats it! no change it sound at all! mainly just looks.
tho with small subwoofers you really dont gain much airspace at all. but with larger subwoofers you can get about 0.3-4cubes extra by inverting them.
