I found out what the song is named and who it is by. I love google. It is called "Calling Card" by Denizen Kane and Universe Neo. I am about to dl it anfd drop it on my mp3. Legally......of course. (yeah right)

 

ive seen a couple other commercials like that for the tuners. the guys in the backround did kinda hurt my feelings but it was funny as hell. i had to listen to it twice.

ill admint, my car sounds like that, at around 60 rpm on a hot day but im runnin catless.

 

It really is a good marketing concept. They advertise an economy car that has no real appeal to younger people who usually want to buy the car. Sure, people looking for a cheaper car that saves fuel might like it stock, but the aftermarket really gets the younger population excited about modding one for themselves to turn an economy car into a cool looking and fast car. I just thought it was cool how they appeal to two target markets.

 

yea, honda recognizes that, tuners are the real reason why hondas sell so well no matter the year, so they are recognizing that in commercials now, and they even have a section on the civic handbook for modifications

 

they dont really play that on TV do they? its funny but really annoying

 

That is actually two different things edited together. I've seen that commercial before, and when it does air, its without the annoying voice.

The annoying voice, is from something completely different, and suprisingly funny. Its called "The Insanity Test" Someone took that voice and dubbed it over the Civic commercial. They are actually bashing Honda. But anyway, heres the link to the insanity test, check it out, its pretty funny. I had a professor who was a Marine Drill sargeant before he started teaching, the only time i ever saw this guy crack a smile and laugh, was while he was watching this website.
