RE: The car I never should have sold
A few reasons...mainly because I a was going to be getting married and needed money for the wedding. (Never got married) [:@] I bought the car for $4300 in 1993 and it was black and in very good shape. I probably put another $10k into in easily.

Is that a L98 out of a vette? or atleast the intake system?
The ZZ3 and ZZ4 crate engines are pretty good starting points, I....myself would have went with a gen II lt1 or lt4 over that but nice engines none the less.

RE: The car I never should have sold
Not sure what car the TPI was from...juts ordered it from Street & Performance but it looked like the same units the Vetts had. I was young and seen the ZZ3 being displayed at Back to the 50's car show. I wanted a motor that would make the car faster than the Camaro's and Mustangs at that time....the ZZ3 was making more power out of the box and I got a killer deal on one that had been dropped and just had damage to parts I was already replacing.
Thanks for all the feedback....I ended up Buying a 2000 R6 after I called off the wedding.
