Default Dual Head Light Mods??

Ok, I'm somewhat new to modding cars.

At one time I was being followed by an Ek that had HID's on, he then disappeared out of my site and comes the same exact Ek with a regular non HID light. As he passes me he quickly turned his headlights from regular back to an HID light. I was surprised as heck to what a noob I am.

So the question is what MOD do you call this? I been looking all over and cant seem to find the type of MOD.

Likely an aftermarket headlight with two bulbs, one for low beam and one for high beam. Low beam had a halogen bulb, high beam had HIDs.

No, I have 55w 6000k on my 04 EX Lowbeam while having my Highbeam at a regular standard bulbs. I click highbeam on; standard highbeam bulbs, and the light mixes up with my 6k. Unlike that EK, it was pure HID, I believe it's 30,000k since it was purple with no other visible lights until he turned it to regular. I ask a friend about it and he just said "He must have been hiding from cops." lol

@trustdestruction: I don't think they were both in highbeam, possibly both in low? But both lights stays on when highbeams click. Having two different lights at the same time. While this dude had one single light on.

I understand that there are kits with HID low beams and halogen high beams. What I said was the other way around, which if he was passing you wouldn't make any sense the way I was looking at it, which was that he was turning on his high beams after passing you. Cops would make more sense I guess

Dude had Purple HIDs on when he appeared on my rear view mirror. Disappeared or might have slowed down while we were going through a curve. I was wondering where he went cuz suddenly another car appeared behind me with regular lights on, so I thought until he passes me on the straights quickly after the curve, he turned his HIDs back on. The only thing that made me know it was the exact same Ek was the side LED's on them. This was all happening at night.
