Hey, I just got finished ordering some parts for my dohc zc. I got 8.5:1 forged wisco pistons with eagle h-beam rods.I am also looking at theJG dual valve springs on ebay... are they any good? Well anyway Im gonna get one of the hybrid t3/t4 turbos around a.60 trim i think and I was wondering what kind of boost my zc could hold up to with a good tune. Are there any othercomponents I should replace. I hear the cranks are good for lots of hp. Id bereally happy with anythingover 200whp. Hopefully thats possible. What do you guys think?

with the list you have on what your gonna do to the motor you could probably get 350whp + if the tunes good and your axles and clutch can take it.

Nice. You think the JG valve springs are worth buying? I definitely want to buy some I have some fairly agressive cams in it and i think the factory springs are having trouble keeping up. I couldnt imagine that car with 350 whp... i mean its decently fast now with maybe 140whp....

your springs will be fine up to 7500 rpm i would assume, there are civics running around 400whp on a sohc stock head so your springs should be fine..

i find redlining at 8000 fun, so i will be running ksm springs and retainers on a z6 head...

if you are planning on pushing the high rpm limits get some new springs, but otherwise just leave it... with my setup, KSM springs/valves/retainers and a skunk2 stage 1 cam its "supposedly" rated safe to 11000, no need to ever even imagine that though...

and pistons / rods / bearings will get you easily 300+Whp with a good tune... get a new water pump / oil pump as well and a new timing belt lol

Oh yeah, that was the plan. But I definitly wouldnt want more that 250whp so hopefully itll be reliable. But Im gonna replace all the gaskets and all the wear parts so i start out with a fresh engine for sure.
Thanks for the input.
