Default webbing on block- turbo clearance b16a2 HELP!

hi peops, i am currently fitting a turbo to my 99 civic jordan (in england) which is quite similar under the bonnet as the 99-00 si that you guys get in america i think (b16a2). i have a cast manifold and a t3 t4 turbo, i have a problem with fittin the turbo up to the block correctly. i have been out in my garage for two evenings now shaving the block to try and let it fit. it still isnt sitting nicely and i dont really want to grind anymore away also it is really close to the clutch slave so it doesnt look like you could get any sort of pipe for a filter on there. has anyone had these problems, and what did you do to solve them, or have you got any solutions for this problem. i have had thoughts of either buying a smaller tubo or changing the manifold for one that takes up more space and binning the a/c but i dont really want to thid if i can help it. anyone help!

had the same problem on mine bro, flip the compressor, its the only way youll be able to get it in and successfully filter it.

as you can see, this is what i ran into, which i think is exactly what you are talking about

thanks for the help mate. the thing is i want to retain a/c and that would not be compatible. i have found a solution which will require me to get a company to laser cut a flange. have a look at the photos i have found of the solution if your interested.

Or you could just buy a cast turbo manifold that allows you to retain the AC.
