hmm, well i'm not so sure about this transmission now...
i took it out for a spin, and it didn't grind once, even in high RPMs. It actually hasn't grinded since I mentioned it in this thread.
I think it was probably my fault and now that I have been thinking about it i've been doing a better job shifting.

well then i guess until it starts to become not your fault when it grinds, as in you can't help it by being easy on the gas or shifting softly, don't mess with it. if you have to take the trans off for the clutch, i would leave the gears alone. maybe it'll last 5 more years before it starts happening on its own.
