Turbo finally done, after months of waiting!

yea they are the motegi FF6's, and notta prob, would love to play. Honestly, I know I spent a crap load to get this turbo kit together, since I had problems with the first kit, but the main stuff I bought was like 2k or more. The setup I have now, is all ready to expand with more boost, since I didnt want to cheap out and replace stuff when I build the bottom end. I am already thinking of swapping in a si or gsr motor and building that, or just building my d16. I know especially the y8 has oiling problems after reving past 7400rpm, and I want to rev higher with a built motor to keep me in full spool. Thats another day another dollar for now. Thanks for the welcome, it definately feels good to be here.

Im not sure where you live but I have some advice for you. Get an alum radiator and a rad fan switch installed, boost and hot summer days dont like eachother too much. Make sure those head studs are tq'd down to perfect specs, otherwise youre going to get head lift and bye bye Headgasket. Everything looks good and way to go with the quality parts. I would also recommend you get a lower temp thermostat. Jackson Racing sells em for like 5$......I believe they open up at 165 as opposed to 195. Makes a world of a difference in summer. Best of luck with it. I LOVE boost.

Good looking out Pete. I already planned on getting slim fans and an aluminum radiator, but good call on the lower temp theromstat and switch. While less than a week with boost, I love it just as much as anyone else! I would definately be a spokesperson for a turbo over a motor swap anyday! If the budget fits, why not both.

yea its right around 4000-4300 rpm full spool. I'm considering either building the y8, throwing a z6 in, or a b16 or b18, all would be built. Not sure which way to go.
