Default T3/T04E?

Hi all, just wondering if anyone could share some info on turbo`s for a B18C daily driver. I am aiming for 300whp and was wondering which turbo would be the best. I haveseen some people describe the T3/T04E as being a big turbo (hence suffering lag and requiring high boost), with turbo`s such as the T28 being more suitable for a daily driver.Cananyone with any experience of the T3/T04E tell me whether that is true?

Default RE: T3/T04E?

the t3/t04e turbo is not a huge turbo, seeing boost at around 3800 rpm, and full boost before 5000rpm...

t28 will be seeing full boost by 3000rpm i think... (not positive on that one)

in my opinion, go with the t3/t04e, it will get you easy 300whp between 10-12 psi, and if you want to go fast, you will, boost will always be just a downshift away..

the t28 would just get annoying,i want to be able to drive my car like its stock if i want.... or drive it as if my car was possessed by satan himself.

my friend has an eg si hatch wtih ab18c1 swap, running a t3/t04e bb turbo, at only 5 lbs of boost he dynod at 220whp, on a mustang dyno, so add 15% roughly to that for a normal dynojet. he was basically pushing 250whp on 5psi, built bottom end stock top, equal length manifold, 3" exhaust.. blahhblahhblahh

go the hybrid, you wont be disapointed

(and sorry i really rambled in this post lol)
