Default nitrous on stock 6th gen EX

If I got a small shot of nitrous and put it on a completely stock motor, would I have any problems? What should I do to make it work better, and what are some good cheap companies to look into? Is it worth it? what size shot should I go with? I really just wanted it for the extra oooomph on the highway, but that may not be the best reason for buying nitrous...plus a purge kit would kick major ***.

I'm not sure about that.
I mean, I won't debate the value of turbo- but I fill up scuba tanks with N2O for like $5-10, depending on where I go.

yeah, I've been looking around too and there seems to be alot of complaints on the price to refill the tanks... I just can't bring myself to turbo it... maybe I'll just throw on a few bolt ons and be done with performance... don't really know until i get it I guess. Just testing the water!

Nitrous isn't as expensive as everyone complains. Usually the people who say get a turbo, with the money you spend on refills you can buy one have never even looked up the price of a refill, much less used nitrous. A shop around my town refills 10lb bottles for 8$ or so. Half that if you put their sticker on a window. If you dont flip the switch at every redlight, or run out the bottle twice every weekend, then its going to be years before it out-costs a turbo.

you dont want that little "sniper" or "Sneaky Pete" crap. even a 10lb bottle always seems to be empty when you want it. and at about 10-15 full power 1/4s per 10 pound bottle (50 shot), you can imagine how long a 2.5lb sneaky pete is going to last you. Hey User, a performance shop fills yours for $8? thats crap. its like $37.50 here. ($3.75/lb)
