RE: Nitrous
not sure about how much, i am in the process of finishing my head, stage 2 cam and new cam gear titanium retainers, new springs, nitride coated valves, and an intake mani swap.then eventually i will do the block, with high compression pistons new rods, and a new crank if i can find one. i was hoping a 75 off of these upgrades. I also have all the basic stuff i/h/e

RE: Nitrous
if you tune it really well i think you could pull a 75 shot off, i would look into a 50 or 65 shot if possible to be on the safe side until you get some stronger material in your bottom end

RE: Nitrous
I don't see a reason to have a stage 2 cam with a stock bottom end. Most people tuning with a stage 2 raise the redline to 8k or so because that stage cam will make power that high but I have seen a lot of pictures of rods, bearings, and other parts of the bottom end breaking because they can't rev that high.

RE: Nitrous
People on d-series.org run 100+ shots on stock internals. You just have to know what you are doing and tune it right. One of the guys has a crx and tunes everything manually and runs like 150 shots. Do some reading and find out more about nitrous before you try using it.

RE: Nitrous
i havent put the nitrous in and i am gonna wait a while before i do that because i am going to build my motor first. I am planning ahead, i want to get a plan down to know what my future plans are. I am still learning alot as i go along too. I want to build my bottom end up, but all i know that i can build so far is pistons, rods and a crank if i can find one... anyone have some input on this as well?
