If my motor has an N/A setup, is it safe to run Nitrous on it?

That is the vaguest question I have read yet. What is your setup, how much nitrous do you want to run?

what engine is it? that has a bearing. some blocks hold more than others. a 75 will work fine on something like a b18b or c but on omething like a d15 it may blow the bottom end.

if you tune it really well i think you could pull a 75 shot off, i would look into a 50 or 65 shot if possible to be on the safe side until you get some stronger material in your bottom end

I don't see a reason to have a stage 2 cam with a stock bottom end. Most people tuning with a stage 2 raise the redline to 8k or so because that stage cam will make power that high but I have seen a lot of pictures of rods, bearings, and other parts of the bottom end breaking because they can't rev that high.

People on d-series.org run 100+ shots on stock internals. You just have to know what you are doing and tune it right. One of the guys has a crx and tunes everything manually and runs like 150 shots. Do some reading and find out more about nitrous before you try using it.

i havent put the nitrous in and i am gonna wait a while before i do that because i am going to build my motor first. I am planning ahead, i want to get a plan down to know what my future plans are. I am still learning alot as i go along too. I want to build my bottom end up, but all i know that i can build so far is pistons, rods and a crank if i can find one... anyone have some input on this as well?
