Do a compression test to make sure your engine can handle it. I guess which company's system to use would be just the opinionated. I like ZEX because of their nitrous control units. Start off with a 35 shot and a wideband o2 sensor then up can up the hp from there. I have heard of some people running up to a 100 shot on a stock engine but I wouldn't go over a 75shot.

Research it and see what other b18 drivers are using. A 75 shot on a stock b18 block seems like a bit much for repetative use. 35-50 max to be safe but a wideband will let you know how far you can take it with a good tune. Have you decided if you want to run a wet or dry shot yet?

75 isn't much if your engine is in good shape. Someone on d-series.org said they are running a 75 dry shot a few times every week with no problems.

...yet.

75 shot is a lot on a stock motor with 4-cylinders and an 11:1 CR. It will catch up with him sooner or later.

Wet is a little bit safer than a dry shot. If you wanna get really expensive go for the ported system

actually dry is safer IMO if you have a fuel controller and injectors that can handle it. With a wet kit you have to run a fuel line which is just one more thing to possibly malfunction. If that fuel doesnt come on with a large injection of nitrous and no fuel to compensate you are screwed.
