OK! First off, thanks for the helpful tips.

I found the leak. It is where the exhaust manifold bolts up to the adapter. So I tried tightening the bolts but I can feel exhaust blowing out still. So I bought an exhaust gasket, but my exhaust manifold is not the normal HF manifold. It bolts right up to my d series motor, but the bolts are different so the gasket doesn't fit.

Now I need to find out what car this manifold goes to so I can get the right gasket. The part stamped on it is 3E25 AGC1. If anyone knows I'd appreciate your help. Honda Parts Dept, doesn't know what car this goes to [:@]

Here is a better pic of the exhaust manifold. Please help me identify which year make model, etc this came off of so I can get the OE gasket.

how much did u get the turbo and all the equipment for from the junk yard?

 

This kit was put together by someone here in Colorado. I saw it on eBay and bought it from him for @ $600-$700 about a year ago, but I didn't use the intercooler or the exhaust. And I bought a cat back exhaust, BOV, hoses, a/f ratio guage, etc. for additional $400 +.

If I had to do over I would've bought a greddy kit. (Still might).

Allright! I finally fixed the problem(s) with my low boost. There were 3 problems.

1. There was an exhaust leak at the manifold and adapter. My father in law fixed that by machining the surfaces of the adapter and manifold, then cutting out a groove in the adapter to accept the cx manifold gasket. That fixed the exhaust leak.

2. After that I was puzzled why I still only got 3 psi. Finally after researching I made a home made pressure tester of the turbo and charge pipes. Found out the Raptor BOV was set too soft and air was escaping there. Tightned the BOV adjustment screw and that leak was fixed.

3. Now I was getting 4 psi. That sucks, so luckily I had a TurboXS MBC. I hooked that up and tested it a few times and finally I am up to 6 PSI!

I may try 7PSI, but I don't think I'll go over that with the d15 motor.
