whats so confusing about a picture?

 

is this setup useing the aem v2 cold air intake as charge piping? or is the wastegate, just for nothing....

 

probably that it has an AEM V2 and a turbo setup at the same time


OP: the owner of that car probably use the V2 for charge piping.

 

yea they are probably just using the piping from the V2 sicne it's already mounted on the throttle body. Thats waht i did with my charge piping, just left my SRI on there and hooked the charge pipes up to it (and then paitned them all the same color to look pretty )

would the v2 chamber thing mess with the flow a bit. i just think its wierd lol. but i guwess you do what you need to do.

 

Well he prolly bought an expensive intake and later on got some christmas money from granny and decided to turbo the car, but didn't want to get rid of his cool intake pipe that he paid $275 for so he just ran that for his charge pipe. Plus "it addz lik3 20 mo horespowa yo!"

 

oh i didnt even thnk about how the piping has two parts. I guess if the inside pipe's diamter is still as big as the rest of the charge piping, it shoulnd't matter.

and i'm not sure what the baseball hat to do with anything....you can see there his hood prop thing in the corner
