My new manifold came in. It's pretty sweet. I know that the HMT setup is costing me so I went looking for a new one. All that's out there is stupid SSAC. I saw this one and snatched it up for a price. I guess it's a prototype.



Ran into another free turbo too. I dont' know how I come across this stuff. I have no idea what to do with this one. It's a sweet little turbo. Just need to figure out what flange that is and I might use it on the Super D. Looks like it would spool pretty quick. I think it's internally gated to 5.5psi so I may need to change the spring out.



Got a little built in BOV too. Cool.

Searching around I found some info about it. Apparently it's a t3 inlet flange, but all of the t3 flanges I have seen are rectangular, not round like that one.

Dunno. It's not really a brand name one. The guys I got it from said, "it was sent to us as a sample." That's why I assumed it was a prototype that they may have been using for fitment or for a mold or something. It's pretty sick though.

 

that turbo is a KKK turbo, probably a k26 or something, and yah it is like a t3 flange, the holes are in the same position, i think u can get an adapter,but they are hard to find. check out a volvo/audi forum, the stock turbos are all KKK, they would be able to point u in the right direction.

 

That is NOT a KKK turbo:-D It's a mitsu made TD04HL. A pretty damn desirable turbo in the saab world. It could be a T25 flange or a T3 flange.
