Most people dont tune with a dyno. Its just so friggen expensive. Im going to road tune out in the middle of fliping nowhere.

As rof retarding the timing Id just retard it as much as you can and then see where your at and then keep tuning it up from there

alright, thanks.

pcupo12 Why am I gambling with the reliability of my car going over 6 PSI on stock internals? I know its more boost, but every where that I've read says its ok to go up to 8PSI and it still would be considered safe, not to mention that guy in that turboD16 video, was pushing 9PSI.

right he was pushing 9psi at that moment. All im sayin is the higher u go with the boost the more risk ur taking. From what ive heard u should stay around 6-7 max psi for daily driving on stock internals. Then u turn it up at the track or whatever.....but id reccomend 6psi for daily driving......u gotta figure thats about 50 xtra horses. My trannys auto too man.....so im not looking to risk it. Ill turn up the boost a little as soon as i get a spare tranny...........theyre a dime a dozen...id feel better about blowing it if i have a spare in the garage.

And you will only be tuned for full throttle too.The dyno is not a good way to tune cause you can get peak numbers from it,it's a better way to tune cause you can tune in 5% steps with the throttle.

so 30% throttle = a certain tune
35% throttle = certain tune
40% throttle = certain tune

and so on and so on

5 hours

It should take a good tunner no more than 2 hours tops and it will be the best mod you can do to your car

I never claimed it was as good. But for that price Ill buy another part to go faster, retune it myself for the new part and beat the dyno tuned guy.
