Finally Boosted! (Pics and IACV Question pg. 3)

RE: Finally Boosted! Problems of course
installed my wideband a few days ago, getting my oil leak fixed by a shop tmrw while i'm at work. My wideband is working pretty well, it's reading 14.2 or so when i'm cruising, and then all the way down to 13.X when i'm really giving it gas. When i coast/am in neutral it shoots all the way up to 20.0 and just reads LEN. Anyone know why? Could it just be that my basemap has a good fuel curve for when i'm hammering on it and then my neutral point is just way out of whack? Other than that got my downpipe welded, looking VERY rough haha but it does the trick. Very ugly weld though. I'm beginning to built my Boost Leak Tester right now, we'll know if thats why my boost gauge isn't registering it as soon as it's done.
i'll get pics up in the next few days, been working a lot since i took a whole week off for this project, but i should be able to get some good pics in the next little bit.

RE: Finally Boosted! Problems of course
as for the IACV conversion, do i need to actually run a whole new IACV to fix it? Or would this wiring diagram fix it since it'll only be reading off of two wires once this little fix is done?:

Alright pics are finally here! Enjoy! Yes, my engine bay is dirty, w/e
Secondary mode of transportation (Mom's Suby), packed with parts!
Civ on the lift
Mani finally bolted on
Check the easy access of my charge piping right to my FMIC
All done! Heres the piping ran right to the intercooler (ugh, yea i realize that one coupler is raggity but oh well)
Engine Bay
Broken BOV, check the apoxyed nippled [:'(]
DSM injector's, not TOO ugly, still gonna need some electrical tape/wire cover
Vacuum manifold/charge piping/BOV, I realize the nipples aren't threaded all the way in but i put some apxoy on there and tightened them down as hard as i could. I'm thining i mighta knicked the threads when i had to drill the manifold old because before they screwd in fine and now they had to be forced really hard to get them in as far as i did
Hood popped

RE: Finally Boosted! Problems of course
Flip, the big blue hose that you have your charge piping connect to the valve cover. GET RID OF IT!!! You want to run the valve cover open to let pressure out, you're pressurizing your crank case by doing that and it will wreck the rings. Just put a plug on the nipple on your charge piping and ziptie it down so that it doesn't go anywhere.
Other than that, looks like you're ready to go.

I dont have oil pouring out of my lines but I have an extremely light leak, almost a resedue on both of my lines. Oil gets extremely hot and is very difficult to keep it from leaking slightly especially if your just using a hose clamp to keep your return line on a fitting. My point was that oil leaks are a part of owning a car that isnt supposed to be turbod. I agree that you should to your best to fix a leak but your more than likely going to be dealing with things of that nature for most of the time you own the car and its just part of common maintanance that canstantly has to be dealt with.

wtf?! My setup never leaked a drop, until of course I threw a rod. If you've got leaks, fix em.

Your most likely always going to have some type of an oil leak. I have leaks out of my feed and return lines. Its just part of owning a turbo car.

Looks very..."homemade" flip . Get that pig tuned!
