the DSM t25's are nice turbos they spool up very quick, what are you gonna use for a manifold ? yeah thats a good deal what shape is the turbo in? is there any shaft play?

nope its been used and nothin is wrong with it and i wanted to try to keep the kit legal as possible i live in cali and i was lookin to get a used edelbrock mainifold but they run around for 300 bucks. so i was lookin on ebay and found some cheap black ones for 125 but dont want thpse cheapes to crack on me. im sending the money order next tuesday for the turbo because i bought a compression test today and gunna check it.

UPDATE

i check the compression and check it couting the spark plugs 1 throgh 4 witch i dont knows right but it look like this and thats how i labbeled them

HONDA
4 3 2 1

thats what the top of the block looked like

num 1 compression was at 180 2 was 175 3 was 175 and 4 was 180 and my motor has 160,000 miles on it. bad news is my freind dident know when he undid the compression tester the adapter feel off the 1 spark plug hole and at the end when i put the plug back in it broke the tip off so now i need a new spark plug and drovve a couple miles home on 3 cilinders, is that bad? and then this retard goes to close the hood and for some reason thoght it was a shock closing hood ya know and bent it where the stand holds the hood so now my hood sticks up right there and the paints chipped [:@] o well.

so is that compression alright to turbo and can someone tell me the corrrect order of the cylinders thanks.

okay for the manifold you can use a hx mani from a crx then get an adapter plate that will allow the turbo to mount to the honda manifold( thats what i have for my t25)

now for the cylinders you have them in the right order 4 3 2 1, those number are good

did you leave the adapter in the hole??? cuse if you left it in the hole the piston could smack it and mess up your motor. i had to drive on 3 cylinders when my wire broke on me(i had no choice) it ran like dog sh8, but after i replaced my wire havent had any problems.

running on 3 cylinders won't hurt your car a bit. the loud noise you heard was that 180psi of air bursting out of that small freakinspark plug hole. As long as there was no debris that fell into the cylinder you'll be fine.just a littleunburnt gas exiting through the exhaust

yup it olny sounded like that when the car dident have the spark plug in it and i still havent got a spark plug cause of transportion issues, but does anyone know how i can make my 97 legal to turbo, cause i know you have to change the obd2 to 1 or sumthin like that but it wouldent pass smog so is there a way i can have both and switch them or sumthin for when smog comes around lol.
