Default dsm injector install?

Im attempting to install my dsm 390cc injectors today inmy b16. What all needs replacing on the injectors? O-rings top or bottom? Did anyone have to modify the bottom injector seal/o-ring or enlarge it to get the injectors to seal fully into the manifold? Any other tips or anything you guys can give me would be great.

Red arrows are pointing at the bottom injector seals/o-rings that are causing fitment problems.

Yup, you gotta bore out the bottom seals. BUT BE CAREFUL, if you bore too far, you're risking leaks. Leaks = engine fire....not fun.

Did you get clips and a resistor box? (are the 390's low or high impedence?)

Aaaand, why'd you choose the 390's out of random curiosity?

You can bore them out if you want but I was able to fit dsm 450's into the stock fuel rail of my buddies D16Y8 no problem. All you need to do is put some grease on those edges and take those bottom o-rings off and place them in the holes first. Then you want to force the top of each injector individually into the fuel rail (and they will fit with enough force). Then with all the injectors installed in the fuel rail line it all up with the intake manifold and push them in as one unit. To get them the rest of the way in just tighten down the 2 connecting nuts on the fuel rail to the studs on the intake manifold until snug, and everything should be golden. And none of my buddies injectors have ever leaked.

Thanks for the imput guys. I got them in there pretty good and they dont look like they will be leaking. I chose 390's cuz I got them for $20 and Im only running the 7-8psi internal wastegate setting on the18g Im (guessing around 225whp on the b16)so I dont think I will be maxing out thier duty cycle any time soon.Anything wrong with them that I dont know about? I do have a resistor box and dsm clips for them. And Im not sure if they are low or high impedance. Im not exactly sure how to wire them up so if anybody has any good diagrams or links let me know. Thanks guys.

This is sorta whatmy wiring diagram looks like. My injectorsall have black and green wires instead of yellow, red, blue and brown.

Have you ever seen anything like this? Its hard to tell but there may be a small coloredstripe downthe side of each ofthe black wires. They are kindafaded lookingso its hard to tell. Ifthis isa possible way of distinguishing themI will try to clean them off and get a better look. Let me know what you think.
