cool, or should i skip the turbo and find other ways to increase hp and keep it NA, how much hp gain could i get by installing quality headers, full exhaust system, intake. Is it possible to add nitrous to these cars, with the D17 motor?

It all depends on your goals, with N2O and a good N/A setup it's possible to see 175-200whp outta the D17. As for adding header, exhaust and intake expect no more than 10-15 hp at most. You can use a wet kit with the D17 motor, no more than a 75 shot, prolly should play it safe with a 50 shot to start.

You will see higher gains with a turbo, but you'll need fuel management, a tune, upgraded fuel system, etc.

So figure out what your goals are and you'll have a better idea of how to go about it.

I think i will go with a NA setup for know, I dont want to fool around with the fuel system right now, i plan to attack this project one step at a time so it is easier on the wallet, what part should i upgrade first, i was thinking the header and intake?

I wouldnt upgrade the i/h/e if your planing on turboing later on. Cas then it all comes off and the turbo kit replaces it. [air intake replaced by intercooler pipes, headers replaced my manifold, and exaust needs to be wider so you will need a different one.]
