if you havent tapped your oil pan yet this is what i suggest, instead of getting a weld on bung find a threaded bung, drill it out, tap it, and your set.

my machinest said the ONLY time he recomends welding the bungs is if the oil pan is a weak thin walled style... (he builds smallblocks not hondas)

ideally, put gob of weld where you want your return bung, you do this so that you have more threads after its tapped. then tap it, wrap some pipe tape around the fitting, screw it in tight, back it off a quarter turn, then screw it in tight again (backing it off and re tightening will get you a little bit more bite in the threads)

then hooray, a very professional way to weld on a bung, welding forged aluminum is just nasty, you can never get it clean enough to do the job ""nice"" by a welders standards (thats me!)

unless you get a y7 oil pan thats steal, then go right ahead and drill and weld the bung on, but its cheaper to just drill and tap the aluminum one. hell i dont even know if the d15b has an aluminum or steel!!

now im rambling

I got a new wastegate actuator for my turbo, so I won't have to go with an external gate after all. I would like to use my hf manifold, but I'm unsure of where to get an adapter plate from. Do you guys know any good sources?

I found a good site BMCrace.com. I've heard that they make good stuff.

Hey guys there really hasn't been much action in this part of the forum for a while lol. I ordered an exhaust manifold just now, so the list of parts needed grows shorter!
And I'll finally be able to get picks of tomorrow YEEEEEEAAAHHHHH!!!!, I know they have been long awaited.

You cant have a turbo setup without one lol. Removing ac makes sooo much room.

I have ic piping and a downpipe as well, I just didn't take pics cause there isn't much to see.

It should be alright, I know people that have used no-name manifolds before with no problems.

I haven't heard good things about many eBay manifolds, but let us know how it goes.

FLANGES: http://www.homemadeturbo.com/forum/i...?topic=83018.0

the holes on mine were drilled a little too small, so they have to be drilled out which sucked, but other than that iwas perfect.
